I’ve always had a deep love for travel. I’ve wandered the cobblestone streets of Europe, soaked in the sun of the Mediterranean, and explored countless ports of call on small ship cruises. But lately, something’s shifted. Maybe it’s the pull of home, or maybe it’s the realization that some of the most awe-inspiring places on earth are right here in my own backyard.

As a Canadian, I feel incredibly lucky to call this vast, diverse, and beautiful country home. And yet, like so many others, I’ve often overlooked it in favour of destinations that felt more “exotic” or far away. That changes now.

Over the next few years, I’m setting out on a new kind of journey, one that’s rooted in appreciation, curiosity, and reconnection. My personal mission is to explore and celebrate the places, people, and stories that make Canada truly iconic. I’m planning road trips across provinces, weekend escapes close to home, and in-depth explorations of regional food, culture, and natural beauty.

This isn’t about checking things off a list. It’s about slowing down, meeting locals, supporting small businesses, and capturing the unique character of each place, from vibrant cities to quiet coastal villages and everything in between. It's about learning more about Indigenous cultures, rediscovering Canadian history, and finding moments of joy and surprise in the everyday.
